Willow's Witchcraft Haven

Welcome to Willow's Witchcraft Haven. In this section, you'll be able to read up on some of the spells that Willow and other members of the cast have chanted. This is all according to buffyverse of course with a little relation to real life. All italicized yellow words and sentences are what you are supposed to say aloud. Please take into accord that this is just for FUN.

How To Detect A Witch
You'll need: some of the witch's hair, a little quicksilver, some aquafortis (mercury & nitric acid) and eye of newt.
Instructions: Heat ingredients together and apply to witch's skin.
Notes: If the witch has cast a spell in the previous 48 hours their skin will turn blue.

Blinding Spell
You'll need: a doll that slightly resembles the person you are casting the spell on, a cauldron of brewing water, a piece of material.
Instructions: Give me the power.
Give me the dark.
I call on you, the laughing gods.
Let your blackness crawl beneath my skin.
Cover the doll's eyes with the piece of material.
Accept thy sacrifice of (name of person you are doing this to).
Feed on her.
Drop the doll into the boiling water.
Notes: The spell takes 6 hours to work at the very least.

Variations: If you wish to seal someone's mouth closed instead, simply cover the doll's mouth instead of the eyes. The same chant is sufficient.

The Result

To Reverse All Spells From A Witch
You'll need: eye of newt, boiling water in a cauldron or pot, a personal object of the witch's
Instructions: Mix all the incredients together in the pot and bring to a boil.
The center is dark. Centrum est obscurus.
The darkness breathes. Tenebrae respiratis.
The listerner hears! Hear me! Unlock the gate. Let the darkness shine.
Cover us with holy fear. Show me! Corsheth and Gilail! The gate is closed!
Receive the dark! Release the unworthy! Take of mine energy and be sated!
Plunge your hands into the boiling water.
Be sated! Release the unworthy! Release! Release! Release!
Notes: The spell works immediately after being chanted. Make sure you say the last release powerfully.

	Banishing Someone To An Inanimite Object You'll need: your voice Instructions: I shall look upon my enemy. I shall look upon her and the dark place will have her soul! Corsheth, take her!

Banishing Moloch the Corruptor to a Book
You'll need: your voice, large empty book
Instructions: Open the book.

Translation: By the power of the circle of Kayless. By the power of the circle of Kayless, I command you. Come! I command you! Come! COME! Come, demon! Come!

Notes: The form of the demon will become words in your book. If this book is read in any way, shape or form, the demon Moloch will be released again.

Summoning Janus
You'll need: a sharp blade, a statue of Janus (male on one side and female on the other)
Instructions: The day before you want the curse to work: Cut a small cut in the palm of your hand. And pray this in front of the statue: The world that denies thee, thou inhabit. The peace that ignores thee, thou corrupt.
Dab your finger in the blood in your hand and smear itover your eyelid.
I remain, as ever, thy faithful degenerate son.

The day of (in front of the statue): Janus, evoco vestram animam. Exaudi meam causam. Carpe noctem pro consilio vestro. Veni, appare et nobis monstra quod est infinita potestas. Persona se corpum et sanguim commutandum est. Vestra sancta praesentia concrescet viscera. Janus! Summe noctem!
Translation: Janus, I invoke your spirit. Hear my pleas. Seize the night for you own reason. Come, appear and show to us that which is infite power. The mask transforms itself into flesh and blood. Your holy presence curdles the heart. Janus! Take the night!

Notes: The person who did this used the costumes in his shop to transform people into the actual costumes. No one is quite sure how else this spell could be used.

To Restore A Sicken Vampire To Full Health
You'll need: a DuLac cross (pictured at left), an incense censer, the vampire and the vampire's sire
Instructions: Tie the hands of the vampire and vampire's sire together, light the incense in the censer and wave it around as you chant:
Eligor. I name thee. Bringer of war, poisoners, pariahs, grand obscenity. Eligor, wretched master of decay, bring your black medicine.
Pick up the DuLac cross and pull the blade out from it.
Come. Restore your most impious, murderous child. From the blood of the sire, she shall rise again.
Stab the blade through the clasped hands of the vampire and the vampire's sire.

Notes: This will kill the vampire's sire. You must wait until the vampire's sire is dead for this to work properly other there will be some serious problems with the vampire, though there has been a legend that one couple did this and the vampire's sire remained alive.

	To Revoke The Invitation of a Vampire into a Home You'll need: a cross, hammer, a nail Instructions: Nail the cross to the door through which the vampire was invited through. Chant this: Hicce verbis consensus rescissus est. Translation: By these strong unanimous words [vampire's permission to enter] is rescinded.

Sacred circle with the Orb of Thesulah in the center. An Orb of Thesulah	To Restore A Vampire's Soul You'll need: an Orb of Thesulah, some incense or herbs, matches, some stones, four candles and some animal bones. Instructions: Set up a sacred circle in front of you exactly as depicted in the picture on the left. Light the herbs or incense as well as the candles and chant the following: Quod perditum est, invenietur. Not dead nor not of the living. Spirits of the interregnum I call. Let him know the pain of humanity, gods. Reach your wizened hands to me. Give me the sword. Gods, bind him. Cast his heart from the evil realm. I call on you gods. Te implor, Doamne, nu ignora aceasta rugaminte. Nici mort, nici de-al fiintei, Te invoc, spirit al trecerii. Reda trupului ce separa omul de animal! Nici mort, nici al fiintei. Lasa orbita sa fie vasul care-i va transporta, sufletul la el. Utrespur aceastui. Asa sa fie! Asa sa fie! Acum! Translation: What is lost, return. Let him know the pain of humanity, gods. Reach your wizened hands to me. Give me the sword. Gods, bind him. Cast his heart from the evil realm. I call on you gods. I implore you, Lord, do not ignore this request. Neither dead, nor of the living, I invoke you, spirit of the passing. Return to the body what distinguishes Man from the beast! Neither dead, nor of the living. Let this Orb be the vessel that will carry his soul to him. Restore this one. So it shall be! So it shall be! Now!

	To Have Your Will Be Done You'll need: 22 tall red candles, a bowl, a goblet, incense, herbs. (details were sketchy on this one) Instructions: Arrange the candles up in a circle and light them. Light the incense and sit in the center of the circle. Chant: Harken all ye elements, I summon thee now. Control the outside, control within. Land and sea, fire and wind. Out of my passions, a web be spun. From this eve forth, my will be done. So mote it be. (Pour the contents of the goblet into the bowl) The next day, anything you say will happen.

	To Undo The "Will Be Done" Spell You'll need: Your voice Instructions: Chant: Let the healing power begin. Let my will be safe again. As these words of peace are spoken, let this harmful spell be broken.

	To Invoke the First Slayer (and call upon the power of your friends) You'll need: 4 white candles, tarot cards (the ones of spirit, heart, mind and hand) Instructions: Arrange the candles in a (sorta) circle and light them. Turn the cards over in front of the appropriate person and say the following: Spirtus...spirits. Animus...heart. Sophus...mind. Manus...hand. We enjoin that we may inhabit the vessel. The hand, daughter of Sineya, first of the Ones. We implore thee. Admit us. Bring us to the vessel. Take us . . . now!
