Can I use pictures on this site
on my own site?
Of course you can! That's what this
site is here for! All that I ask is that you link
back to my site somewhere. I don't care where, your
Links section is fine. And that you don't remove any
of the tags placed on the photos. Some images are
tagged with www.nika-summers.com
(or other various addresses for this site) but others
are also tagged by the scanners. This is to give them
credit and I feel they deserve it. So please leave
the tags on.

Can you teach me to make a web
site?
As much as I'd like to I just really
don't have the time. Plus it's ever so hard to try to
explain how HTML works to someone through e-mail
especially if they have no idea what's going on. So
do like I did back in 1998. Go to a search engine
(try www.google.com
or www.yahoo.com)
and look up HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language). I'd
recommend starting with Notepad and learning the
basic codes and *then* using an editor because then
you at least have the basics to work with.
How much do you pay for your web
site?
Originally, when I was running this site on fortunecity.com's free servers for the entire run of the series.
But I finally decided to move the site over to my own web space about 6 years into running the site. Currently I'm paying $19.95 a month for the space.

Umm... the word duh crosses my mind.

Why do you do this?
Because I got so fed up or seeing
Buffy web sites that had old content, old pictures
and no new updates that I decided I wanted to create
the end all resource for Buffy fans. Course it's not
exactly the "end all" resource but I'd say
it's pretty huge.
Where did you get a certain
picture?
While this question does aggravate me, I usually can remember
where I got them from. Be warned that sometimes people send me zipped
files full of pictures so sometimes I don't know where the pics came from.
If you want to ask me where a certain picture came from just e-mail me
the file name and I'll try my best to let you know where you can find
it or where I got it from.
Why don't you post
screencaptures?
Because there is an insurmountable
number of screencaptures that can be taken from a
Buffy episode. Think about it. My galleries are large
enough, if I went in and posted screencaptures then
I'd have twice the number (if not triple or
quadruple) of galleries and it would take forever
to find a certain picture. So why'd I post the
screencaptures that the WB made? Well, for one, they
were decent quality and for two, they don't make an
insane number of them.

No. That's what this site is for.
Everything that is found on this site is all that I
have. I don't have any other pictures that I'm
squirreling away. This is it. Now I do have all the
Buffy episode on tape but I don't have the time to
copy them for people. It may sound mean and nasty but
there are plenty of people out there who are willing
to do this job. I'm just not one of them.
How long has this site been
running?
Ever since May 2, 1998.
What kind of hits do you get?
I'm now at 10000 hits a week. (That was way back in the day, it's probably closer to 2000 a week now since the show is over.)
Why haven't you update your web
site?
The show has been over for over a year now and there isn't much to warrant updating a Buffy site when there aren't many things left to update. If I get a mass of stuff to update then I'll do it, but I won't be posting very small pieces of information which would make for an essentially useless update.
