Summary: Buffy Summers, vampire
slayer, and her mother, Joyce, have just moved to
Sunnydale, California. Everything seems to be normal
until Buffy encounters the high school librarian, Mr.
Giles. He's aware that Buffy is the Slayer and he's been
appointed as her new Watcher. Buffy doesn't want to be
the Slayer anymore but resigns to her fate when she
learns from the mysterious Angel that she must stop The
Harvest, a ritual which will release The Master, a
vampire centuries old and extremely powerful, from his
mystical cave underground. |

Review: This novel is good for those
who haven't seen the series pilot (Welcome to the
Hellmouth and The Harvest) but if you're already seen
them, then I wouldn't recommend buying this book unless
you've got some extra cash to burn. It's not a bad book
as it is well written and gives some endearing qualities
to the characters. I'd just as soon buy the videos
though. |
