Review: This was, without a doubt, the best script book I've read so far. Absolutely fantastic. And it mostly has to do with the fact that there are a lot of scenes, scripted lines and alternate scenes in these scripts that allowed for a slightly different version of the episodes. Stuff like that absolutely fascinates me. Most of the differences were from the scripts for Surprise, Innocence and Passion. The one that really held my interest was Passion. The way it's scripted comes off very differently than the episode was saw on TV. The poem that Angel says in the background throughout the episode is totally different. Not as powerful as the one we saw in the final cut, but still hauntingly creepy. There's also more depth thrown into the relationship between Buffy and Giles as needing to take care of each other in times like these. I really wished some of those aspects had been kept for the final version. But it was probably cut due to time constraints. When Passion first aired I didn't care a great deal for it, but I grew to love it over time. But while reading this script, I realize that I would have liked it a lot better had they left all of the scripted content in. My two cents anyway.
