Summary: A student named Kevin
Sanderson transfers to Sunnydale High and he's exteremely
lonely until a lecture is given to his class by a man
named Daniel that works for Sunnydale's Museum of Natural
History. Kevin immediately considers Daniel to be his
mentor as they both thoroughly enjoy paleontology.
Unfortunately Daniel's goal is not at all the same as
Kevin's who is just trying to fit in. Daniel has found
some manuscripts which will help him resurrect dinosaur
eggs, and Kevin seems to be the only person with the
appropriate eggs. Meanwhile Oz is getting an offer from a
woman name Alysa Bardrick to help run their band. She
wants to be their manager but the band members of Dingoes
Ate My Baby are still unsure as to her intentions. Buffy
needs to stop Daniel and Kevin before they perform the
ritual to raise the eggs... and if she doesn't stop them
in time... how exactly does a Slayer fight a
prehistorical ferocious beast? |

Review: For a book I wasn't really
looking forward to read (cuz I'm not that much of a dino
fan) this book totally blew me away. It was fun, fast
paced, exciting and portrayed the characters extremely.
I don't care if you're not a fan of dinosaurs, this book
is still enjoyable to read. There was a lot of use of Oz
which was (in my opinion) high time that they use him
too. He almost never got used properly (except for in The
Gatekeeper Trilogy) and this time the author actually
gave him his own storyline. The author creates incredible
atmosphere and the fight scenes are extremely well
written and placed in wonderful arenas making everything
seem so much more creepier. I loved this book and I'd
encourage everyone to read it! |
