Review: The way this book was written was
horribly: The language and sentence structure was wayyyy too
kindergarten like. It felt like a 10 year old's essay where any sentence
over 10 words is impossible and where the writing is supremely choppy.
Utterly insipid, frustrating and beyond aggravating. And unfortunately,
you get used to it after a while. Joss deserves a lot better than the
way this was written. All that being said... the information in this
biography was pretty damn good. I'm a particular fan of all the quotes
that were thrown into the book, it really helped the readers to identify
with who Joss Whedon is as a person. And btw, might I mention how much I
love that man? He's absolutely hysterical and I'm so happy that he's
such a wonderfully offbeat man. Alright, back to the book.... pick it up
if you want to learn quite a bit about Joss, don't pick it up if you
know enough as it is. |
