Review: The thing you'll immediately
notice about this novel is that it is very definitely written
like a video game. And in a way, that really doesn't work out too well
for the readers. Well for me anyway. And also, I was dumb dumb dumb. I
plan to buy the game as well when it comes out so reading this book
ahead of time was just moronic. Because now I know how to get through
every level of the game and how to defeat the bosses. Cripes. The
storyline is decent enough I suppose, but it just didn't flow well
because all I could picture was the video game floating around in the
back of my head. Just a warning, don't read this before you play the
game. |
