Summary

After killing a vampire and demon tag team in the cemetery, buffy and Riley decide to tell Giles about it; in the morning that is after they've had sex. That night Riley wakes up in bed beside Buffy and gets out of bed because he senses something. He heads to the washroom but there's nothing but a leaky faucet.

The next day, Xander's driving an ice cream truck (his new job) and Anya is with him. He tries to convince her to go to the party the Initiative's guys are having tonight but she doesn't want to go because she feels weird around them, she's also convinced that she and Xander are breaking up because they didn't have sex last night. On campus, Giles is informed about the demon and vampire tag team and he figures that Adam is bridging the gap between the demon races to make them stronger. Buffy and Riley can't seem to keep their hands off each other. Giles eventually learns about the party and Riley tells him that his guys need to let off some steam, Giles is invited but refuses saying that he has plans at the Espresso Pump. Buffy and Riley suddenly get up and go off to do something; namely have sex.

At the frat house, Forrest and Graham are freezing and start joking about how Buffy and Riley never seem to stop having sex. The whole house is freezing and the fire place doesn't warm the place up. Suddenly the fire goes crazy and leaps out and sets a frat guy on fire. They manage to smother the flames on the guy but they can't figure out what happened in the first place.

That night, Spike runs in to a mopey Anya outside of the Bronze. They go in together and share about their love problems. Meanwhile at the party, Buffy and Riley are on opposite ends of the room staring at each other. In another room a guy touches the wall and is amazed to feel sudden sexual pleasure coming from the wall. Buffy breaks away from her group and pulls Riley upstairs fervently. Willow and Tara are talking when Willow innocently touches Tara's knee and Tara freaks out saying that that's disgusting. Tara heads to the washroom leaving a bewildered Willow. Anya and Spike then enter the party and Xander is none too pleased to see them together. Xander and Anya get into a fight and storm away from each other. Xander heads over to a group playing spin the bottle and sits down. Xander spins and the bottle lands on a girl named Julie, she suddenly attacks him and kisses him roughly. She apologizes and then runs off crying. Willow is still looking for Tara so she heads to the washroom and in a tub she finds a boy drowning in the water but when she goes to save him he vanishes and Willow screams. Buffy and Riley pause in the midst of making out when they hear the scream but figure it's nothing and continue with their business. Willow then finds Xander and Tara and suddenly things become chatoic when they try to get Riley and Buffy out of the bedroom. Vines and leaves appear making it impossible to get into the room and the house begins to shake. Everyone leaves the house and the gang decides they need Giles to help them out with this. They find him at the Espresso Pump signing and playing the guitar much to the utter shock of Willow and Xander.

Back at the frat house; the place is overgrown with moving vines and Buffy and Riley are still going at it. Meanwhile the gang is at a library and Willow's researching finds that the frat house used to be the Lowell Home for Children. They decide to visit Mrs. Holt, the retired owner of the house. They discover that even though she cared greatly for the children, she would still abuse them when they acted sexually towards one another. They leave and on the way out Giles deduces that the poltergeists are being manifested from the power of Buffy and Riley having sex and if they stop they'll die. Xander and Anya head out to the frat house while Tara, Willow and Giles try a binding spell on the poltergeists. They manage to bind them long enough for Xander and Anya to enter the house and make it up to the second floor before they loose control and the poltergeists return to the frat house. The ghosts try to drown Xander and throw Anya off the balcony down to the first floor. She climbs back up to the second level all the while being assaulted by vines. She manages to get to Xander and yanks him out of the water. They push their way to Riley's room and shove the door open. The spell is broken and everything in the house returns back to normal.

The next day, Buffy is shocked to learn that she and Riley were completely oblivious to everything that had been going on in the house, plus the fact that Giles was singing at the Espresso Pump.

Nika Summers' Review

Blah! Any tv show, movie or anything with an orgasmic wall needs to be shot down immediately. I was laughing from the pure ludicrousy of this episode. Not to mention the fact that I don't really see the point behind it. Sure, I got the whole "the kids were tortured" routine (which reminded me a great deal of the movie House on Haunted Hill though it's only vaguely similar) but what I didn't get was why they were manifesting themselves now and if Buffy and Riley had to keep on having sex otherwise they'd die, then how come when Anya and Xander opened the door everything was fine afterwards? That didn't really seem like an ending, more of a scapegoat if you ask me. Well as we wind down to the end of the season I guess it's expected to have a couple of dud episodes (can anyone say Go Fish? or Nightmares?) so I'm hoping to look forward to some awesome end-of-season eps. The thing I liked most about this episode was the fleshing out of Giles, we learn there's a lot more to him especially the guitar and singing part we had no idea about (well we knew that he was in a band when he was younger but that's about it) and Willow's flabbergasted reaction to see Giles singing was absolutely hysterical!

Niki Bartl's Review

Hmmmmmm..... well, this episode was... interesting. Yeah, that's the word I wanted. I really do not need to see those shots of Riley and Buffy which seem to be getting oh-so-familiar. And that whole tree thing? How big cheese was that? The episode definately had potential but it just never went anywhere with it. The whole ghost/poltergeist was rad, but they just disappeared when Xander and Anya open the door? I was hoping for a good ol' exorcism. Also, Spike being chummy with Anya, going to the party and then suddenly leaving when the ghosts make their prescence really known seemed like an awkward way to give Spike a few minutes to be in the episode. Anya was classically hysterical, although this episode there were too many of her naive comments, so by the end they were wearing on my nerves. So I am begging Joss: less orgasm friends and more normal Scooby activity. And what's up with Tara and Willow? If you're gonna put them together, then PUT THEM TOGETHER already!
