Chapter 2 - Enjoy your stay
Xander woke up in the cheap motel room he had got, after sitting in a bus for few hours to L.A, he had been exhausted and picked up the first motel he saw
The warm sunshine filled the room, the sunshine always made him feel comfortable
He got dressed while he was scanning the room, no kitchen, that meant he had to eat his breakfast in one of those restaurants
He put the watch at his wrist, it was half past twelve, well skip the breakfast and go out to lunch, he grabbed his jacket and left the room

Xander sat by a table, in a crowded restaurant, sipping of his cup, when he heard a familiar voice
"And Pete, god, he strucked a nerve, he was so cheesy, he was talking about flowers, literally, uhh, duh, Iīm a demon girl, and his outfit.. just donīt let me go there.." The girl said
"So, youīre not going out with him.." Angel stopped when he noticed Xander
"Was there an end at this sentence?" Cordelia asked, Angel motioned to Xander who was staring back
"Xander?" Cordelia asked, first she was shocked, than her lips formed a huge smile, Xander stood up and grabbed her into a hug and swang her around
"Wow, Cordy itīs been like ages" Xander mumbled
"What are you doing here?" Cordelia asked excited, But Xanderīs gaze was fixed on Angel
"Angel?" Xander asked
Angel held up his hand and showed him his ring
"Ah, Spikeīs gem, I gotta tell ya, it hurt like hell to see him in the sunshine, bashing my ribs out" Xander grinned
"Are you alone?" Cordelia asked
Xander turned back to Cordelia, she noticed him flinch, but he tried to cover it "Uhh, yeah, I needed a little break from Sunnyhell"
"Howīs the gang?" Cordelia asked, as Xander noticed Angel become interesting in that question
"Well, theyīre fine.. I guess" Xander muttered
"You donīt sound so sure" Angel said
"I donīt really got new updates, Iīve been kinda buisy" Xander shrugged
"Buisy? Come on Xander, when are you ever buisy, which doesnīt involve the scooby gang" Cordelia said
"Oh, ouch" Xander pretended to be heartbroken
"Xander?" Cordelia asked
Xander turned to face her
"Whatīs wrong?" Cordelia asked
Xander smiled "Wrong? Why should anything be wrong?"
"I dated you" Cordelia stated "I know something is wrong"
"Uhh, you know what?" Xander said "Iīm starving, can we just save this talk?"
"Letīs order a take- away, weīll go back to my place where you spill" Cordelia said
"I donīt really want to talk about it" Xander said
"Does it involve your physical condition?" Cordelia asked
"Kind of, but thatīs just a part of what kind of hell Iīm going through right now" Xander explained
"Angel, we better buy some ice cream, and chocolate" Cordelia stated

Xander sat in Angelīs couch, facing Cordelia and Angel
"I donīt really know how to put this" Xander confessed
"Just start where you want" Cordelia said
Xander sighed heavily as he tried to avoid their gazes
"Um, Iīve been dating a girl, Anya.." Xander started
"Anya?" Cordelia asked "The one who is.."
"Sheīs an ex demon. Surprise. But that didnīt matter, I fell in love, and somehow I knew she loved me back. Just when everything was going right in my life" Xander smiled slightly, but still it was a sad smile "Weīd been dating in two years, I and Anya were walking home from the Bronze when we were attacked, by a group of vampires, Iīve never seen so many vampires hunt together, we had been fighting for a while when Buffy finally showed up, but.." He paused, while the tears were stinging his eyes "She was too late, they killed.. Anya, right in front of me" Xander choked in tears
Cordelia moved to him and grabbed him into a hug, Xander tried to push her away gently, but Cordelia grabbed him tighter, Xander finally gave up and leaned upto her
