Summary: It occures in season 6, right after All The Way.

It
was a typical night for Buffy. She was like clockwork. In the
morning she would get up about 7:00am so she can get Dawn ready for school.
After she had made sure her younger sister had gotten to school safely
she would straighten up the house even though she hated it then went to
work. When she left work she would get home have dinner with Dawn then
out and patrol but this night was different.
"Buffy what's going on you totally just blasted out of that fight?"
Willow called
"You ok" she continued
Buffy replied but Willow wasn't expecting what she heard
"Who's Buffy, My names Nikki"
Willow quickly realised what had happened and went straight to Giles
and told him what had happened
Nikki was proud to be in the body of the greatest slayer of all but was
worried about Buffy as the last thing she could remember was being on
the train fighting Spike.

Meanwhile in 1977 Buffy had been caught in a fight with Spike and
unexpectedly totally kicked Spike to kingdom come. However when she realised
her situation she tried her best to come to terms with it all and knew
that the others would be trying to help. Once spike had been sent away
badly bruised.
"When on earth am I"

Back in 2002 Nikki was telling the others of who she was fighting and
the others found that this must be a spell. Willow tried a few counter
curses but they failed but that wasn't there only worry how were they
going to tell Nikki that she doesn't exist past 1977.
"Maybe we could tell her that she turned invisible like Marcie from
High School" said Xander
The others just looked at him until Giles stepped in with some info.
"Willow you said that Buffy was on a grave when this happened" said
Giles
"Yeah Kelly Sanckton she killed herself in 1987" Willow replied
"Oh AND AS USUAL DEAR GOD" Giles said afraid
He then revealed to them that Kelly Sanckton was a witch who cursed her
grave that whoever stepped upon it would be cursed to live pain. The
others were ok with this as they knew that Buffy could take Spike and
send him to yoohoo.
They went to the grave and asked Nikki to lie in the exact spot of where
Buffy fell. Giles chanted the spell
"Carish, Moch, La var, setton la rish de curse"
Suddenly a great blue and white portal circled Nikki and knocked the
body unconscious.

Meanwhile in 1977 Buffy went back to the train where she had fought
spike.
"Maybe there's a clue here somewhere hold on this is the train Nikki
died and I fended off spike" "Soggy Loo Loo's"
Suddenly the huge Blue and white portal circled Buffy and knocked
Nikki's body unconscious. Spike appeared at the scene in suspended
animation
in the exact position as when Buffy arrived.
The two souls switched back

Back in 2002 Buffy returned to a warm welcome but she didn't tell them
what had happened as she knew that as soon as Nikki arrived back she
would be killed she walked off needing to be alone

Back in 1977 Nikki arrived back in her own body and both her and Spike
continued to fight until he killed her.

In 2002 Buffy felt this death while she was asleep and whispered
"Sorry Nikki"
